Blessings from our Friends

Kazen and I felt very blessed tonight. Since our "big" girls were at church camp this week Annette, Johnnie Craig, Kazen and I went out for a KID FREE dinner at Outback! We had a great time talking and laughing. Apparently Betson has been on their hearts also because tonight they informed us that they would like to have a BBQ fundraiser for the adoption. Of course they want it to be something that our small group does together....Have I ever mentioned that our small group performs miracles...just sayin' they all ROCK!!!

Just from talking tonight it looks like this will happen sometime early to mid August. For those of you who do not know it, Johnnie Craig did this kind of stuff for 20 years! It is going to be fabulous and taste even better. They are thinking brisket and pulled pork, beans, potato salad etc. I will report more details as they are given to me. We will start selling tickets at $10 per plate (and it will not be a super model portion!) soon so keep your ears open. If you are interested in helping sell tickets please let us know.
